His performance is a chameleon, shifting from wheezing old men to shrieking children in a heartbeat, each voice dripping with a menace that lingers. The production is flawless: crisp sound design cues subtly heighten the tension without resorting to cheap jump scares, and the pacing is relentless. That said, the final act’s reliance on a single, never-seen entity verges on anticlimactic—it’s less a reveal and more a slow fade to black.
