Gary Furlong's narration is the star of the show here. His deep, resonant voice and perfect Scottish accent transport you to the muddy, blood-soaked battlefields of medieval Scotland. The pacing is excellent, balancing intense action sequences with quieter moments of reflection and political intrigue. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience.
