As an audiobook editor, I was thrilled to dive into Eva Leigh's A Rogue's Rules for Seduction, the final installment in the Last Chance Scoundrels series. Mary Jane Wells' narration is superb, with her ability to convey the emotions and nuances of each character through her distinct accents and tone. I particularly enjoyed the nuanced portrayal of the protagonist, Lady Willa Ransom, who grapples with the pain of a past heartbreak while yearning for a second chance at love. The pacing of the story is well-executed, with moments of tension and suspense interspersed with lighter, comedic scenes. However, I did find the ending to be somewhat rushed, leaving me wanting more from this captivating series.
