Seraphine Valentine’s narration is pitch-perfect, with a playful yet deeply expressive style that makes the characters feel like old friends. Her ability to shift between lighthearted humor and raw emotion—think a laugh-out-loud joke one moment, then a tear-jerking confession the next—adds layers to the already rich plot. The pacing is brisk but never rushed, allowing the chemistry between the leads to simmer naturally. However, I found the secondary characters underdeveloped in some spots, which occasionally diluted the story’s impact. Also, the final act leaned a bit too heavily on clichés, though it’s hard not to admire the heartfelt payoff.
