Tom Alexander's narration is the star of the show here. His ability to switch between the cold, calculating Cerastes and the desperate, pleading voices of the converted is nothing short of masterful. The pacing is breakneck, propelling you through a story that's as intricate as it is brutal. Annandale's exploration of faith, power, and corruption is as thought-provoking as it is disturbing. However, some listeners might find the sheer volume of grimdark violence overwhelming at times. But if you're a fan of complex, morally ambiguous characters and don't mind a healthy dose of darkness, 'Apostle' is an absolute must-listen.
