Dufris' narration is nothing short of exceptional, capturing the raw, guttural desperation of a man fighting for his life in the most inhospitable of environments. His ability to convey the physical and psychological toll of Jensen's ordeal is astonishing, making the listener feel every brutal, bone-chilling moment. The pacing is relentless, with Frey masterfully doling out just enough information to keep you guessing until the very end. However, the story does occasionally veer into melodrama, and some secondary characters feel one-dimensional. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise gripping, white-knuckle listen.
