As a listener, I was immediately drawn into 'Beautiful Dreamer' by the crisp, engaging narration of Melissa Sternenberg. Her ability to differentiate characters with unique voices and inflections made the story feel like a cozy chat with old friends. Brayden's writing is a delight, balancing wit and warmth with poignant moments that had me reaching for the tissues. The pacing is near-perfect, allowing the story to unfold naturally while keeping listeners engaged. My only critique is that I wish there were more scenes between Devyn and her love interest, Alex, to fully explore their chemistry. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook that I'd highly recommend to fans of character-driven romance.
