As someone who's been enchanted by the magic of holiday romances, I was thrilled to dive into Being Merry. Christy Clarke's narration was a true delight, as she flawlessly portrayed the charm and sass of both Noelle and Merry. Her voice brought warmth to the story, and her ability to convey the characters' emotions made their journey even more enjoyable. The pacing of the audiobook was spot-on, seamlessly blending humor with heartfelt moments. A particular strength of Being Merry is its ability to showcase the growth of both protagonists, as they navigate their rocky start and eventually find common ground. Although I did feel that some of the obstacles they faced were resolved a bit too conveniently, the overall story's sweetness and the satisfying conclusion made up for it.
