I went into *Billionaire Devil* expecting another shallow billionaire romance, and I left pleasantly surprised—because Capulet’s got teeth. Ada Sinclair’s narration is the glue that holds this wild ride together; her portrayal of the heroine’s internal monologue (especially when she’s being mercilessly flirted with) feels like eavesdropping on a friend’s most chaotic text chain. Sean Masters, meanwhile, nails the ‘I’m trouble but you want me anyway’ energy, even if his billionaire’s accent wavers between ‘silicon valley tech bro’ and ‘old-money villain’ at times. The story’s strength lies in its refusal to let either character off the hook. The billionaire isn’t a one-dimensional fantasy—he’s arrogant, entitled, and occasionally infuriating, which makes his slow (very slow) evolution feel earned. The heroine isn’t a pushover, either: her internal debates about consent and power imbalances add depth without derailing the rom-com fun. That said, the first act rushes through her backstory so quickly it feels like she’s been traumatized by spreadsheets or something, and the ‘lessons’ premise wears thin by the midpoint. The production is top-tier, but the editing glitches once when the billionaire’s dialogue cuts out mid-sentence—jarring in an otherwise polished listen. Still, by the climax, I was fully invested, cackling at the banter and groaning at the plot’s sheer audacity. If you’re here for a rom-com that doesn’t treat its characters like mannequins, this delivers—with style.
