Blood Be Damned: Magic Wars

As someone who's usually hesitant about dual narrations, I was pleasantly surprised by the seamless collaboration between Savannah Gilmore and Adam Gold. Gilmore's sultry tones bring a captivating depth to the female leads, while Gold's commanding presence gives the male characters an intense, almost dangerous edge. Their chemistry is palpable, making the romantic tension between the characters all the more enticing. The story itself is a gripping blend of action, suspense, and steamy romance, with a unique twist on the post-apocalyptic genre. However, some of the world-building could have been more fleshed out, as I found myself wishing for more detail on the magical system and the consequences of its disappearance. Despite this, Blood Be Damned is an addictive listen that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
