Broken Lines

I was immediately drawn into Broken Lines, its opening chapters setting a tense and atmospheric scene. Rollingson's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook, her ability to shift between characters and capture their unique voices a testament to her skill. The pacing is excellent, building to a climax that feels both satisfying and heart-wrenching. My only critique is that at times, the political machinations can feel a bit heavy-handed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen. If you're looking for a story that explores the human cost of war and the complexities of loyalty, Broken Lines is an excellent choice.
