Caste

I was thoroughly engrossed by Caste, and Robin Miles' narration was a significant factor in my engagement. Miles brings a measured tone to the text, allowing Wilkerson's powerful arguments to take center stage. The pacing is deliberate and thoughtful, mirroring the author's careful consideration of the historical evidence. If I have any quibbles, it's that some of the longer passages can feel a bit dense, and the production could benefit from more judicious use of sound design to break up the narrative. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise outstanding audiobook that sheds new light on the American experience.
