Mike Grady’s narration adds a layer of charm to the already enchanting story. His voice is versatile enough to handle all the magical transformations and whimsical characters without losing the sense of wonder. The pacing is perfect—slow enough for listeners to soak in the rich detail, but fast enough to keep them engaged through every fantastical moment. While the storyline is captivating, there are occasional long descriptions that can feel a bit too wordy. Still, the overall experience is so immersive that it’s hard not to be swept away by James’ vivid storytelling and Grady’s nuanced performance.
