As an editor, I was drawn in by the audiobook's confident delivery and addictive storytelling. I found myself invested in Lia's plight, eager to uncover the truth behind her husband's sinister actions. The narration is pitch-perfect, with Jason Clarke's smooth, deep voice providing a perfect contrast to Desireé Ketchum's edgy, breathy tone.
