I was swept away by the sincerity of Brett and Camille's story. Aaron Shedlock and Maxine Mitchell's narration is outstanding, bringing a warmth and intimacy to the characters that makes their romance feel palpable. The pacing is well-balanced, moving smoothly between action, emotional introspection, and tender moments. One area where the audiobook could improve is in its handling of secondary characters, who sometimes feel a bit one-dimensional. Additionally, the narrative occasionally glosses over the complexities of Camille's past, which could have been explored more deeply. Nonetheless, the chemistry between Brett and Camille is undeniable, and their love story is both captivating and heartwarming.
