Cuando ellos se van

I have to admit, I was initially skeptical about an audiobook that promises to be both a tearjerker and a treatise on animal welfare. But Julia Navarro's writing is so effortlessly engaging, and Elsa Veiga's narration is so captivating, that I found myself fully invested in the story from the very start. Veiga's portrayal of the animal characters is particularly impressive, and her ability to convey their emotions and quirks through voice alone is a testament to her skill as a narrator. One of my only criticisms is that the pacing occasionally feels a bit sluggish, particularly in the more introspective sections. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent production. Overall, I would highly recommend 'Cuando ellos se van' to anyone who loves animals, or is simply looking for a heartwarming story that will leave them feeling uplifted and inspired.
