I've always been a fan of Dick's novels, but this collection really showcases his range and genius. Elejalde's narration is outstanding, his ability to shift between characters and tones keeping each story fresh. The pacing is spot-on, allowing each tale to unfold at its own pace, whether it's a slow burn or a sudden, jarring revelation. My only critique? Some stories could have benefited from a bit more breathing room, as the transitions between them can feel a tad abrupt. But that's a small price to pay for such a compelling exploration of humanity's dark corners.
