Jon Lindstrom's narration in Dead Drop is a standout feature, his crisp delivery perfectly complementing M.P. Woodward’s taut and well-constructed script. Each scene feels meticulously crafted, from the tense negotiations between nations to the clandestine operations involving spies on both sides. The pacing is masterful; it never lets up, ensuring that listeners are constantly guessing what will happen next. However, there were a few moments where the dense plot felt slightly overwhelming, particularly during the technical discussions of nuclear strategy. Despite this, the overall experience was exhilarating, making Dead Drop an audiobook that thrills and impresses.
