Death's Pale Flag

Michael Coward’s performance as Ryan Brenan is nothing short of extraordinary. His deep baritone effortlessly conveys the protagonist’s inner turmoil, from the confidence of a surgeon to the vulnerability of someone grappling with inexplicable visions. The story builds suspense masterfully, with each chapter revealing new layers of the characters’ pasts and their interconnected fates. However, the pacing can feel slightly uneven at times, with moments that are too slow in comparison to the heart-pounding action sequences. Despite this minor quibble, Death's Pale Flag is a compelling listen that will keep you on edge until the very end.
