Deep in My Soul

I was drawn into 'Deep in My Soul' from the get-go, thanks to the fantastic narration duo of Ebony Ford and Vance Goodwin. They bring a level of authenticity to their characters that's truly compelling. Ford's Adina is fierce and vulnerable in equal measure, while Goodwin's Cartel is a perfect blend of tough and tender. The pacing is excellent, keeping the tension high and the romance sizzling. Brown's exploration of family, loyalty, and love is profound, and her gritty, realistic setting provides a compelling backdrop. My only critique? I wish we'd delved a little deeper into some secondary characters' backstories. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience.
