Demon with Benefits

As someone who's spent hours devouring these kinds of stories, I was thoroughly charmed by Demon with Benefits. Leigh's narration is a highlight, bringing a depth and emotion to Lila's journey that's hard to find in lesser productions. Her performance is pitch-perfect – whether navigating Lila's snarky inner monologues or conveying the raw, pulsing energy of the demon, Kael. Speaking of which, Ascher's world-building is top-notch, with a richly detailed mythology that adds an extra layer of depth to the story. My only quibble? A few of the supporting characters felt a tad one-dimensional – I would've loved a bit more backstory on Lila's witchy frenemies, for example. Still, this is a minor complaint in what's otherwise a wildly entertaining ride. If you're in the mood for something that'll make you laugh, swoon, and maybe even shed a tear or two, look no further.
