As a long-time fan of Christmas stories, I was pleasantly surprised by 'Der Weihnachtosaurus und der unglaubliche Weihnachtszauber'. The story is a clever blend of the classic 'A Christmas Carol' and a dinosaur adventure, creating a unique and engaging narrative that kept my attention throughout. Simon Jäger's narration is a highlight of this audiobook. He masterfully brings each character to life, from the gruff Weihnachtosaurus to the enthusiastic humans. The pacing is spot on, building tension and excitement, especially during the Weihnachtosaurus's visions of the past, present, and future. My only critique is that the story could have delved a bit deeper into the Weihnachtosaurus's backstory to make his transformation more impactful. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise delightful listen. I highly recommend this audiobook for families looking for a fresh and fun Christmas story.
