As someone who's dabbled in data science and system design, I found Designing Data-Intensive Applications to be an incredibly insightful listen. Benjamin Lange's narration was clear, engaging, and easy to follow, which made diving into complex topics like scalability and consistency much more accessible. I especially appreciated the real-world examples and practical insights sprinkled throughout the book, which helped me apply the concepts in a tangible way. One area where I think the book could have delved deeper is in discussing the trade-offs between different design approaches - something that's crucial for making informed decisions in real-world scenarios. Despite this minor critique, I highly recommend this audiobook for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of data-intensive system design.
