I was drawn into Devil from Moscow from the very first chapter, thanks in large part to the exceptional narration by Lilly Drake and Michael Gallagher. Drake's voice is perfect for the strong, resilient heroine, while Gallagher imbues the Bratva boss with a raw, visceral intensity that's both terrifying and alluring. The pacing is excellent, building tension and suspense until it reaches a thrilling crescendo. The story is gritty and real, with characters that feel like they've been torn from the headlines. My only critique is that the supporting cast sometimes feels underdeveloped, but that's a small complaint in an otherwise gripping listen.
