Doorway into Time

As an audiobook editor, I was excited to dive into Doorway into Time, and I wasn't disappointed. Jim Gallant's narration sets the perfect tone for Moore's stories, which range from thought-provoking explorations of time travel to eerie and suspenseful tales of alien encounters. One of my favorite stories, 'Shambleau,' is a standout for its richly detailed world-building and nuanced characterization. Gallant brings a sense of urgency to the narrative, perfectly capturing the sense of danger that pervades the story. However, at times the pacing feels a bit uneven, and some listeners may find themselves getting lost in the more complex scientific concepts that underpin some of the stories. Overall, though, Doorway into Time is a compelling listen that will appeal to fans of science fiction and fantasy.
