Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

From the first haunting notes of Jonathan Keeble's narration, I was transported back to the eerie world of Transylvania. Keeble's deep, resonant voice is the perfect embodiment of Stoker's original tone, while Emma Gregory's portrayal of the enigmatic Mina Harker adds a captivating layer of complexity. The story itself is a thrilling blend of old and new, with Barnes expertly weaving together historical events and fictional elements to create a compelling narrative that kept me on the edge of my seat. The pacing is excellent, building tension and suspense with each passing minute. However, I must admit that the occasional anachronistic phrase jarred me out of the story's historical setting. Despite this minor critique, Dracula's Child is an outstanding audiobook that's sure to satisfy both classic horror enthusiasts and contemporary thriller fans.
