When Finn’s sarcasm cuts through Charlotte’s defiance, or when his voice drops to a near-whisper during the (frankly *scorching*) confrontation in the safehouse, you *believe* the history between them. The chemistry isn’t just in the dialogue; it’s in the pauses, the swallowed curses, the way Campbell makes Finn’s silence feel like a loaded weapon. That said, the pacing stumbles slightly in the middle. The undercover operation’s logistics occasionally slow the momentum, and Charlotte’s internal monologues about her past choices can feel repetitive—though Crouch redeems this by making her stubbornness a *feature*, not a flaw. The production is crisp, with no distracting edits, but I wished for more atmospheric sound design during the action sequences (a distant gunshot, a revving engine) to heighten the immersion.
