Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

David Rintoul's narration is the star of the show in 'Eagles in the Storm'. His ability to differentiate characters with distinct accents and tones is impressive, making the audiobook a joy to listen to. The pacing is excellent, building tension and suspense as Tullus closes in on Arminius. Kane's attention to detail in depicting Roman military strategy and the harsh realities of life in the legions is commendable. However, some of the dialogue can feel a bit stilted at times, which is a minor gripe in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. If you're a fan of Bernard Cornwell's 'Sharpe' series or Conn Iggulden's 'Emperor' books, you'll find 'Eagles in the Storm' to be a worthy addition to your listening list.
