Viola Müller is the perfect narrator for this story. Her voice is as comforting as a cup of tea on a rainy day, yet she can also convey Ella's growing passion and excitement. Caplin's writing is heartwarming, with a touch of humor that had me chuckling out loud. The story moves at a leisurely pace, much like a gentle stroll through a spring garden, but it's not without its surprises. I found myself wishing for more time with Ella and her newfound friends, and I was a bit disappointed when the story wrapped up a tad too neatly. Still, it's a delightful listen that's perfect for escaping to the countryside, even if just in your imagination.
