As an audiobook listener, I was delighted by Mark Winter's performance. His ability to switch between characters, maintaining distinct voices, was impressive. The stories themselves are a wonderful blend of the known and unknown. While I enjoyed the majority of the tales, a couple felt like they could have used a bit more development. However, the standout pieces - 'The Red Shoes' and 'The Wolf's Bride' - were so masterfully crafted that they more than made up for it. The pacing was excellent, keeping me engaged throughout the 7.5-hour listen.
