As an avid listener of romance audiobooks, I devoured Falling for You in a single sitting, eager to discover the secrets of Maddy's past and the charms of the seaside town. Sarah Barron's narration is a big part of the book's appeal, her voice weaving a spell that's hard to resist. I particularly loved the way she brought Kerr to life, his wit and kindness shining through in every scene. One of the things that sets Falling for You apart from other romances is its focus on female friendship. Mansell explores the complexities of female relationships with sensitivity and humor, making the reader feel like they're part of the girls' club. If I have any criticism, it's that the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, with some plot threads feeling a bit rushed. However, this is a minor complaint in an otherwise engaging and satisfying listen.
