Baum's writing is often lyrical and insightful, but some sections felt overly dense and meandering. The production quality is solid, with good sound engineering. One area for improvement would be to tighten up the pacing in some of the longer, more abstract discussions. Overall, listeners drawn to literary criticism and cultural analysis will find much to appreciate here.
