First Date

Listening to 'First Date' was like being trapped in a dark room with a stranger, not knowing what horror might come next. Bronwen Price's narration was outstanding, her ability to switch between characters and convey their emotions was truly impressive. The pacing was perfect, building tension slowly like a wave crashing against a shore, until it reached a crescendo that left me breathless. The story itself was a masterclass in suspense, with twists that I didn't see coming. However, I felt some of the violence could have been toned down a notch, as it sometimes felt gratuitous. Overall, though, 'First Date' is a thrilling, chilling listen that's perfect for fans of intense, psychological thrillers.
