Florida Man

As someone who's spent countless hours navigating Florida's roads and swamps, I can attest that Florida Man by Mike Baron is a spot-on portrayal of life in the Sunshine State. R.C. Bray's narration is a standout, perfectly capturing the southern drawl and dry wit of the characters. His voice is engaging and easy to listen to, even when the story takes a wild turn. I found myself laughing out loud at the absurd situations Gary Duba finds himself in, while also cheering him on as he tries to make amends and find his place in the world. The pacing is just right, with enough action and humor to keep listeners hooked until the very end. My only critique would be that some of the character's motivations could have been more fleshed out to provide deeper insight into their actions. But overall, this audiobook is a wild and entertaining ride that I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a good laugh and a fresh take on Florida life.
