Frankenstein

Listening to Jamie Bell narrate Frankenstein is like being trapped in a dark room with the monster itself. Bell's performance is nothing short of electrifying, his voice shifting seamlessly between the youthful exuberance of Victor and the haunting, otherworldly tones of the creature. The pacing is perfect, building tension and suspense until it reaches a climax that is as satisfying as it is terrifying. The only critique I have is that at times, Bell's accent choices for the secondary characters can be a bit distracting, but it's a minor issue in an otherwise outstanding performance. This audiobook is a gripping exploration of the human condition, and a reminder that some questions are best left unanswered.
