This audiobook blew me away with its masterful storytelling and stellar narration. Barrett Leddy’s Andrew is perfect—his voice conveys both strength and fragility, making his character fully realized. Andrew Gibson as Jamie brings a different kind of grit; his performance is intense and nuanced. The back-and-forth narration adds a layer of depth that enhances the story's emotional impact. Despite its dark subject matter, there’s an underlying optimism that keeps you rooting for these characters. While the pacing can be a bit uneven at times, this isn’t a major drawback. What truly stands out is how well the narrative balances despair with moments of genuine human connection, making it an incredibly rewarding listen.
