Kate Zane’s narration is the star of ‘Alone in the Woods.’ Her ability to convey both the girls’ fear and their determination is nothing short of exceptional. The story is tense and well-crafted, with moments that are so vivid you can almost feel the coldness of the forest surrounding the girls. However, there are a few too many coincidences that pull you out of the narrative occasionally. The pacing could also benefit from being more balanced to avoid feeling rushed at times. Still, it’s an engaging listen, and Zane’s performance is a highlight.
