I was immediately captivated by the powerful performances of the narrators in Aphrodite. Each voice added depth to their respective characters, creating an immersive experience that felt as if I were part of the story. The pacing is just right—neither too slow nor rushed, allowing for a deep dive into the complex dynamics between the gods and humans. However, the narrative could have benefited from some more subtle transitions in tone during Aphrodite’s internal monologues. Despite this minor critique, the overall performance was outstanding. Phoenicia Rogerson's vivid storytelling, coupled with her bold feminist approach, makes Aphrodite a standout audiobook that deserves your time.
