The narrative follows Sarah Harding as she navigates the treacherous world left behind by a solar flare that has plunged the Earth into darkness. The pacing is relentless, with no filler moments—Koepp packs in twists so cleverly it’s hard not to feel both delighted and disturbed at their ingenuity. However, some scenes might feel overly complex for casual listeners, making Aurora more of an audiobook for dedicated thriller fans. Still, the sheer power of the storytelling makes it almost impossible to stop listening.
