Daughter of Mine

As someone who's spent countless hours devouring psychological thrillers, I was hooked from the very start of 'Daughter of Mine'. Inés del Castillo's narration is a significant part of what makes this audiobook so compelling – her voice has a way of drawing you in and refusing to let go. However, I did find the pacing to be slightly uneven at times, with some sections feeling a tad rushed compared to others. Additionally, I wished for a bit more character development for some of the supporting cast, as they often felt a touch one-dimensional. Still, these minor quibbles didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the story. That being said, the true star of the show is Megan Miranda's masterful plotting. The way she expertly threads together the various plot threads is nothing short of impressive, keeping listeners guessing until the very end. The themes of family loyalty and deception are timely and thought-provoking, making this a story that will linger long after the final chapter. Overall, 'Daughter of Mine' is a must-listen for fans of the genre – just be prepared to stay up late, turning the pages (or in this case, the chapters) until the very end.
