Day of the Dead

Beth Chalmers delivers an exceptional performance that perfectly captures Frieda Klein’s complex emotions and intellect. Her narration is so engaging that you can almost feel Frieda's pulse racing as she navigates the eerie underbelly of a small town. The pacing is impeccable, with French skillfully building tension until the final moments, where every revelation feels both shocking and inevitable. However, some listeners might find the plot’s resolution too tightly wound, leaving little room for character development. Despite this, 'Day of the Dead' remains a powerful and memorable conclusion to an incredible series that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
