Matt Godfrey’s performance is both chilling and compelling, making each whispered word and sudden pause feel like a deliberate choice. His portrayal of Jack and Allen captures their vulnerability and fear with raw authenticity, making you squirm in your seat as they navigate the unknown. The pacing is impeccable; slow-burning suspense gradually builds to a crescendo that’s both satisfying and terrifying. However, some scenes, particularly those involving the mysterious beauty, feel slightly underdeveloped, leaving gaps that could have been filled with more emotional depth. Despite this minor critique, ‘Feral’ remains an unmissable audiobook for fans of atmospheric horror and deep character studies.
