His ability to convey Schumann's inner turmoil alongside the political chaos of Berlin is nothing short of remarkable. The audiobook’s pacing is well-balanced, seamlessly transitioning between intense action and quieter moments of introspection. However, some scenes feel overly descriptive at times, which could slow down the narrative for impatient listeners. Despite this minor critique, Garden of Beasts remains a compelling listen that will keep you on the edge of your seat while questioning your own moral compass.
