The pacing is deliberate but never dull, with a perfect balance of historical context and present-day events that keep you engaged from start to finish. While the first few chapters might be challenging due to their complexity, once you're in, it's hard to look away. A specific critique: while Blumenthal’s critical stance on Israeli policies is clear, some may find his unyielding pessimism a bit exhausting at times.
