AudioBook Atlas

This audiobook is a joy from start to finish, thanks largely to its stellar cast and engaging narrative. Culshaw’s portrayal of Sam Vimes, the stern but ultimately fair sergeant, sets the tone for the entire book. Nighy’s voice as the pompous Lord Vetinari is both chillingly authoritative and subtly comedic. The pacing is impeccable, weaving a complex plot with enough suspense to keep listeners on edge while maintaining the humor that made Pratchett famous. However, some scenes feel a bit rushed, especially towards the end, which slightly diminishes their impact. Despite this minor flaw, Guards! Guards! remains an excellent introduction to the Discworld series and a must-listen for fans of fantasy and science fiction.
