Roberto Scarlato's narration elevates H.P. Lovecraft's cosmic horror masterpieces to new heights. His deep, gravelly voice gives each character life, making the sinister landscapes come vividly to mind. 'The Call of Cthulhu' stands out, its pacing slow and deliberate, building a sense of creeping dread that only crescendos as the narrative unfolds. However, some slower passages feel redundant, especially in 'The Shadow over Innsmouth.' Nonetheless, Scarlato's performance is consistently excellent, ensuring every moment of eerie silence and sudden terror feels purposeful.
