As someone who's spent countless hours immersed in the world of Greek mythology, I was blown away by Maria Zoccola's 'Helen of Troy'. Her writing is evocative, sensual, and unapologetic, stripping away the layers of myth and exposing the raw emotions that lie beneath. One of the standout features of this audiobook is Zoccola's use of language – her descriptions of ancient landscapes and settings are so vivid, you'll feel as though you're transported to 8th-century Greece. That being said, I did find some moments where the pacing felt a tad rushed, particularly in the latter half of the audiobook.
