As I listened to Graham Halstead's narration of Hemlock House, it became clear that he has a talent for bringing out the emotional depth in Cotugno’s writing. His delivery is both steady and dynamic, perfectly capturing the intensity of the unfolding events. The pacing is brisk, which suits the high-stakes atmosphere of the story well. However, there were moments where I felt the suspense could have been even more effectively maintained with a bit tighter editing between some chapters. Despite this minor critique, Hemlock House remains a compelling listen, especially for fans of psychological thrillers and young adult fiction. The mystery is satisfyingly complex, and Halstead’s performance ensures that every twist and turn is delivered with just the right amount of tension.
