I found Eva Wilhelm’s narration utterly captivating; her voice lent just enough warmth to Manifold's no-nonsense personality without overshadowing the raw tension. The story takes a sharp left turn when Nina Davenport enters the scene—her backstory adds layers of intrigue, keeping you on your toes throughout. The pacing is deliberate but never sluggish, allowing each mystery element to breathe before revealing itself. However, there were moments where the suspense felt a bit too predictable, slightly dampening the overall thrill. Despite this minor quibble, Hoodoo & Hair Loss remains a standout in its genre, offering an engaging and atmospheric experience.
