As an editor, I was hooked from the start by Susan Ericksen's effortless narration and the engaging story that unfolds. The pacing is expertly balanced between witty banter, steamy romance, and heartwarming moments of vulnerability. One of the standout moments for me was the gradual reveal of the Duke's character, from his rough exterior to his tender heart.
